Mr. Ramos represents lenders, developers and private equity capital firms in real estate acquisition and financing matters. Mr. Ramos also represents commercial landlords with respect to all aspects of leasing. Mr. Ramos has more than twenty years of experience representing developers, banks, private lenders, contractors, and commercial shopping centers in a variety of real estate transactions. He has also litigated real estate-related lawsuits, involving title defect issues, contract disputes, foreclosures, landlord-tenant issues, quiet title actions and other matters. Mr. Ramos graduated in 1988 from Columbia University earning his bachelor of arts degree in Political Science/ International Relations. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, earning his juris doctorate degree in 1992. Mr. Ramos is licensed by The Florida Bar since 1992 and a member of its Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. Mr. Ramos is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate since 2007 and a member of the federal bar before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. He has been a member insurance agent for Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc./ Old Republic National Title Insurance Company since 1992. Mr. Ramos is also an experienced manager of multi-family properties and a deacon of Calvary Hispanic Baptist Church.
