An active member of both the Florida and Massachusetts Bars for over 20 years, Scott Frank represents both private and public companies in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, financing, construction, title, permitting, loan workouts and foreclosures, and note sales. Mr. Frank has represented numerous buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in Florida and Massachusetts with values ranging from $500,000 to $90,000,000+, and has extensive commercial leasing experience, representing both landlords and tenants in leases for spaces of up to 500,000 square feet. Additionally, in the field of corporate law, Scott Frank represents both small and large privately held companies with regard to forming entities, drafting operating and partnership agreements, negotiating manufacturing and consulting agreements, and serving as outside general counsel to a number of small and mid-sized businesses.

 

Mr. Frank’s experience includes the following representative matters:

 

  • Represent multi-family operator in the acquisition of multiple projects with a value exceeding $200 million within a one-year period.

 

  • Represent publicly traded construction and investment company in bulk purchases of 150+ condominium units in single complex in Palm Beach County, 100+ units in single complex in Broward County, 34 units in a single complex in Palm Beach County, and 140+ units in two related complexes in Broward County.

 

  • Represent private lender in placement of in excess of $20 million in private placement secured loans in Florida and Massachusetts.

 

  • Represent fine art storage operator in $52 million sale of Miami facility, as well as acquisition of multiple replacement properties in a 1031 exchange transaction.

 

  • Represent tenancy-in-common consolidator in acquisition of in excess of $40 million in South Florida investment properties.

 

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Frank was the Managing Partner of a successful Florida-based boutique real estate law firm. Prior to that role, Mr. Frank was a Partner in the real estate practice group of Arnstein & Lehr.
