Victor A. Recondo is a partner with the Firm whose practice focuses on all aspects of transactional real estate, hospitality, banking, and finance. With more than 15 years of experience advising clients on complex commercial transactions, he brings a practical, business-minded approach to every engagement — helping clients navigate sophisticated deals with clarity and confidence.
Victor’s real estate and hospitality practice encompasses a broad range of transactional matters including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, and development projects across asset classes. He regularly represents private equity funds, institutional investors, developers, lenders, and hospitality operators in high-stakes transactions throughout the country. Representative matters include serving as counsel to a private equity fund in connection with a joint venture acquisition of 16 multi-family properties comprising 3,382 units across Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina, and representing the largest private marina owner in the State of Florida in its merger with Suntex Marinas, Inc. Victor also has significant experience in the hospitality sector, having represented a local developer in the origination of a $67,000,000 construction loan for a branded hotel in Ann Arbor, Michigan as well negotiation and execution of franchise agreements, hospitality management agreements and asset management agreements.
Victor's banking and finance practice reflects equally broad experience on both the lender and borrower sides of complex credit transactions. Victor’s experience includes representing a banking institution in the origination of a $52,000,000 loan secured by a commercial office building in Coral Gables, Florida, and advised a national bank in connection with a $38,000,000 asset-based credit facility. These engagements underscore his ability to structure and close sophisticated financing transactions across a variety of asset types and credit structures.
Victor is admitted to practice in Florida and is a graduate of Florida International University College of Law (J.D., 2010) and the University of Central Florida (B.A. 2006). He is recognized among the foremost practitioners in his field, having been named to the 2026 Best Lawyers in America and recognized as a Best Lawyer by the Wall Street Journalin 2025. Earlier in his career, Victor was honored as an "Up and Comer" by Florida Trend in its 2016 Florida Legal Elite edition — an acknowledgment of his early emergence as a standout voice in Florida's legal community.
